First runner-up in the 2007 Miss France pageant was Sophie Vouzelaud, a French model and beauty pageant champion.

She partnered with Serac Antilles Guyane, a Caribbean-based organization that assists the deaf and disadvantaged and is one of my clients.

They wanted to share her success story with a group of recruiters from big companies who are trying to hire more deaf individuals.

The brief gave me the notion to take the viewers by the emotions and let them completely appreciate Sophie Vouzelaud's story's beauty while maintaining a businesslike aesthetic.

The target will be able to take in Sophie's message about the abilities of deaf and disabled persons like her and recognize their potential success, temporarily forgetting the rigidity of their commercial world.

Results

The video projection event was a huge success; the employers that attended saw an astounding 40% rise in employment rates. The audience's needs were fully met by the video, which used Sophie Vouzelaud's story to demonstrate that success is achievable despite a disability.
